About this desk · file ST-11

Useful information needs visible standards.

The California Soft Tissue Injury Desk is an independent editorial reference on soft-tissue crash injuries. It exists because these injuries are explained badly in most places that show up in a search: either by marketing pages that want a phone number, or by content that invents numbers to sound confident.

01

Grounded

Every statutory or medical claim maps to a public source listed at the foot of the file — statutes to leginfo.legislature.ca.gov, DMV guidance to its own site, and medical statements to peer-reviewed or professional-association sources: the Quebec Task Force monograph, AAOS OrthoInfo, and NIH MedlinePlus.

02

No invented proof

No invented statistics, averages, verdicts, or anecdotes. Where a number would be useful but no public source exists, the file says so — and explains the structure instead. Dollar figures appear only where a statute states them: the SB 1107 minimum limits of $30,000 / $60,000 / $15,000. Recovery statements are ranges with sources, never promises.

03

Independent by design

No advertising, referrals, paid placement, affiliate links, testimonials, or case stories. No outside contributor, sponsor, or client influences content. If that ever changes, this page will say so before anything else.

04

Corrected on the record

Errors are fixed on the record: the file is corrected, the correction is noted with its date, and the “last reviewed” field is updated. No silent edits.

Authorship

Files are written and reviewed by the desk's editorial team under the byline “California Soft Tissue Injury Desk — Editorial.” No outside contributor, sponsor, or client influences content.
